My fascination with why we do what we do and how we can change has led to a degree and masters level education in psychology and post-graduate qualifications in psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural and hypnotherapy.
Additionally, my coaching training has led to specialisms in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Stress Management, Positive Parenting and Realising Strengths Accreditation.
I am affiliated with both the University of Birmingham and University of Greenwich lecturing at both degree and masters level in counselling and performance related subjects. I also work with the Professional Golfing Association (PGA) to provide mentoring and support to students undertaking their foundation and degree courses.
“I started seeing Karen six months after finishing a course of CBT – I felt I had gained some awareness but nothing had changed! Within four sessions Karen’s insightful approach enabled me to finally break free from the negative patterns I had found myself in.” Sue, Kingston
